Man City score to late to beat Reading

Premier League Champions Manchester City needed an injury time winner from Gareth Barry to beat bottom side Reading 1-0 at the Etihad.

The City midfielder got on the end of a David Silva cross to head home and send them within three points of leaders Manchester United.

Elsewhere today Arsenal beat Wigan one nil at the DW Stadium to move up to third place.

Mikel Arteta scored a penalty for Arsenal on the hour mark.

Everton are fourth after they came from behind to beat West Ham 2-1 at Upton Park

Carlton Cole put the Hammers ahead but Victor Anichebe (pr: Ah-nee-cha-bee) levelled it for Everton.

Steven Pienaar won it for the Toffees.

Cole was sent off for the home side while Darron Gibson was also shown a red card for Everton late on.

Everton boss David Moyes thought both red cards were harsh:
