Man city close gap with win over Fulham

Manchester City are three points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea and Manchester United after a 4-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage today. Carlos Tevez, Pablo Zabaleta and Yaya Toure all netted in the first half, before Tevez added his second on 56 minutes. Zolton Gera scored a late consolation for Fulham, as the win for City puts them into 4th place in the table.

Mortan Gmast Pederson scored twice to give Blackburn a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at Ewood Park in the earlier Premier League game today. The Norwegian, who netted against Ireland in midweek opened the scoring today just before half-time, before adding his second after 66 minutes – Rovers overtake Villa in the table as a result.
