Munster’s players and staff will undergo another round of PCR testing in South Africa today after a positive coronavirus test was recorded in the camp.
The province have released a statement this afternoon and say they expect those results tomorrow and the person in question is isolating away from the main group.
The Munster statement came after Minister of State for Sport Jack Chambers said that all but two of the Munster party are to be allowed home.
Meanwhile European chiefs say they are monitoring the situation with Munster following the positive coronavirus test.
The Heineken Champions Cup is due to kick off on Friday 10 December, with Munster visiting Wasps in Coventry on the Sunday.
Officials say there are no plans for any European fixture to be postponed as of yet.
