Clonlara boss Donal Madden is confident his side can carry their winning momentum into championship after securing the first silverware of the season.
A dramatic one point victory over Inagh-Kilnamona saw the south-east Clare side secure the WillWeGo.com Clare Cup title, with Cathal “Tots” O’Connell firing over a free on the 60th minute to win the game.
Clonlara registered 22 wides across the contest, with 15 of them coming in a first half that saw them play into the wind.
Madden says the winning feeling is something they need to use ahead of their championship opener against Sixmilebridge.
Elsewhere Eire Óg secured the Division Two title while the Division Three crown went to Tulla
