Clare minor hurling coach Cyril Lyons is hopeful their greater match sharpness will be an advantage in Saturday’s All Ireland Quarter Final.
The Banner take on a Galway side who are making their first appearance of this years championship, with no provincial competition for the Connacht side to compete in.
Clare meanwhile have already had three championship games, beating Waterford and Limerick before losing out to Cork in the Munster Final.
