Shane Lowry has won on the PGA tour for the first time.

The Offaly man won the World golf Championship Bridgestone invitational in Ohio after a final round 66 gave him an 11 under par finish.
This was good enough to put Lowry 2 shots clear of Bubba Watson.
Graeme Mc Dowell ended tied for 17th on 1 under par while Padraig Harrington was tied for 17th on 14 over.
Lowry is now up to 19th in the World Rankings as a result of his victory, which is the biggest of his career to date.
