Double All Ireland winning Clare boss Ger Loughnane has challenged the current squad to prove themselves great by reclaiming the Liam McCarthy Cup.

The Feakle men was speaking as his own squad of the 90s were honoured with a civic reception from Clare County Council to celebrate their achivements in winning the All Irelands of 1995 & 1997.
Loughnanes former player Davy Fitzgerald led the Banner to just their fourth ever title in 2013, with a famous replay win over Cork.
However, Loughnane says they must aim to return to the summit once more
