Clare’s Senior Hurling manager, Brian Lohan, says he is proud of how his side played both individually and as a team in yesterday’s All-Ireland Hurling qualifier.
The Banner emerged 2-25 to 2-22 winners over opponents Wexford and will now enter Monday’s draw for the next round, where they will be paired off with either Galway or Cork.
Lohan said it is important to use periods of dominance to build up scores on the board, and then hang in there when the other side gain control.
