Clare boss Brian Lohan feels it will be a challenge to find the balance between blooding new players and securing results during their National Hurling League campaign.
The first of five games in the group stages comes on Sunday afternoon as Pat Ryan’s Cork come to Cusack Park.
Clare will also face Waterford, Offaly, Kilkenny and Wexford over the next seven weeks, with the top two in the Division 1A standings going through to the semi-finals.
Lohan says they are targetting results, but also focusing on making sure the panel has the depth to cope with the demands championship will bring.
You can hear a full interview with Brian Lohan on this evening’s Sideline View from 6pm.
Throw in on Sunday in Cusack Park is at 1.45pm with commentary on Clare FM with Clare Fruit and Veg Market Turnpike Road and Healy’s Spar and Off-Licence Turnpike Ennis
