Clare boss Brian Lohan admits it was frustrating to see his side let a commanding lead slip as they fell to a fifth defeat of their National League campaign.
The Banner saw their title defence come to an end with a 0-22 to 1-18 loss against Tipperary in Thurles, with the Premier raiding for late scores after trailing by 1-14 to 0-9 in the third quarter of the contest.
Thoughts now turn to Clare’s Munster championship opener against Cork in four weeks time on Easter Sunday, where David Fitzgerald and Peter Duggan will both be available after serving their one match suspensions.
Lohan says it was disappointing not to see the game out having been in a winning position.
