Clare boss Brian Lohan is hailing the hard work and attitude of his entire squad as thought now turn toward an All Ireland hurling semi final showdown with Kilkenny.

The Banner’s Indian sign over Wexford continues as a late surge, which saw Clare outscore the Models by 1-9 to 0-2 in the closing stages, booked a spot in Croke Park for just the second time since 2013.

Aron Shanagher’s late goal, along with scores from Shane Meehan, Tony Kelly, Shane O’Donnell and Cathal Malone, saw Clare reel in six point deficit to record a 1-24 to 3-14 win.

Clare will now face Kilkenny on Saturday July 2nd in Croke Park at 5.30pm, with tickets for the game due to go on sale later today
