Liverpool have formally announced plans to redevelop Anfield as their preferred option.

There had been a proposal to build a new stadium inn Stanley Park.
The city’s council have revealed extensive plans for a regeneration of the surrounding area having secured a 25-million pound grant.
Anfield’s capacity will be increased from 45-thousand to 60-thousand.
