Liverpool have given their backing to Luis Suarez following claims that he racially abused Manchester United defender Patrice Evra in the sides 1-1 draw over the weekend.
Suarez has denied the allegations and Liverpool want Evra to receive a ban if the accusations turn out to be false.
The FA will speak to Evra today to see if he intends to make an official complaint
