Lissycasey manager Aidan “Horse” Moloney will face familiar opposition in the second round of this years TUS Clare senior football championship.
The 1992 Munster championship winner goes up against his native Kilmurry Ibrickane, having guided them to their last county title in 2020.
A comfortable opening round win over Kilmihil leaves them within touching distance of the quarter-finals, as they look to build on their Cusack Cup success.
Moloney is confident his side can continue on an upward curve
Meanwhile Kilmurry Ibrickane manager David Egan is backing his players to respond positively to their opening round loss.
The Bricks were beaten by Eire Óg last time out, and will need a result this weekend to get their season back on track.
Offaly native Egan says it is important players focus on bouncing back
Throw in on Saturday evening in Cusack Park is at 7pm with commentary on Clare FM in assocation with Talty’s Stores Mace, Lissycasey.
