The manager of the Lissycasey footballers admits it will be difficult to beat their nearest rivals, as they go head to head in the county championship this weekend.
The intra-parish clash of Lissycasey and Clondegad is one of the stand-out ties of Round 2 of the Clare Senior Football Championship.
The teams will go head to head at Cusack Park in a game that has been pushed back to Saturday evening.
Speaking ahead of the game, Lissycasey boss Barry Donnelly has admitted they could have a difficult time, and says they’ll be missing a number of players due to injury.
Meanwhile, Wolfe Tones have picked up their second win of this year's Clare Intermediate Championship. They beat Clarecastle last evening, 2-12 to 0-8.
