Last years beaten finalists and the 2014 winners are still in the hunt for the Canon Hamilton.

Cratloe's bid to regain their title is still alive but they had to withstand a stubborn challenge from Eire Og before winning by 0-18 to 1-12.

They trailed by two with ten minutes to play, but 6 unanswered scores saw them take the win.

Feakle are now just 60 minutes away from their first final appearance since 1988 after they got the better of Wolfe Tones.

Second half goals from Gary Guilfoyle and Oisin Donnellan saw them take a 2-19 to 2-15 win.

2015 beaten finalists Clonlara survived a massive test against Tulla before stretching away to take victory by 0-15 to 0-12.

A crucial moment in the game was a missed penalty from David McInerney late in the second half when the game was still in the balance.

Ballyea produced one of the standout performances of the weekend as they beat Crusheen by 1-18 to 0-13.

Tony Kelly accounted for 0-11 of that tally, while Gary Brennan pounced for the goal just before half time.
