Limerick Favourites for Munster Final

Clare hurling fans will have a keen eye on the Munster Hurling final today as the result there could decide the Banner men’s opponents for the All Ireland Quarter final in two weeks time.

Clare and Cork cannot meet again, which means if Cork lose today, Clare will play Galway.
 
A Cork win would mean either Galway or Limerick as opposition in the quarter final, with the draw taking place tomorrow morning.
 
Clare progress after a ten point win over Wexford yesterday, a game forced to extra time, but finishing on a score line of 3-24 to 1-20.
 
Cork and Limericks Munster final clash throws in at 4pm at the Gaelic Grounds.
 
John Allen’s Limerick side overcame holders Tipperary to get to the final and home advantage makes them marginal favourites going into the game.
