Mick O Dwyer has been linked with the Clare senior football job.
Clare FM understands that the legendary Kerry coach has been approached by a Clare club with a view to taking over the Banner senior side.
The county board are understood to be accepting nominations for the position with current boss Michael Mc Dermot having indicated his interest in staying on for a third season in charge.
O Dwyer was most recently in charge of Wicklow having previously managed Kildare and Laois along with his native Kerry to 8 All Ireland’s in the 70’s and 80’s.
