The Clare Ladies footballers have put one foot in the League final after a strong victory over Louth today.

After a tense start in the Darver Centre of Excellence, Wayne Freeman’s side began to pull away before halftime, leading by five points at the break.

Louth fought back after the restart and managed to level the game up but this was short lived as a Fidelma Marrinan goal along with three unanswered points helped the travelling Banner women to a strong win.

The final score was Clare 1-12 Louth 1-8.
