First Adam Johnson struck for Sunderland in the final minute to clinch a 1-0 victory over Newcastle in the Tyne Wear derby.

There was more to follow at Anfield as Liverpool and Arsenal played out a 2-2 draw.

Philipe Coutinho gave the Reds the lead before Matteu Debuchy levelled the game immediately after.

Oliver Giroud looked to have won the game for Arsenal with his second half strike, and when Fabio Borini was shown two yellows in the space of the final minute, the game looked over. Almost ten minutes of injury time was played, and Martin Skertel grabbed a dramatic equaliser three minutes from time to claim a share of the spoils.
