The race for the county senior ladies football title enters its penultimate stage this coming weekend with the competiton reaching semi final stage.
Cooraclare will be hoping to cause a big upset when they take on 2010 champions west Clare gaels on Sunday in Doonbeg at 4pm.
Kevin Shaloo feels the previous meetings between the sides indicate its going to be a tight encounter :
Champions Banner meanwhile coul be without Clare forward Niamh o dea for their semi final at 12pm in Miltown.
The youngster is due to go on holidays while Aoife keane and grainne nolan will also be absent.

Later on Saturday a large attendance is expected for the Armada Hotel Intermediate Championship Final between Doonbeg and St. Josephs Miltown in Quilty at 6p.m.
Also on Saturday evening the first of the Armada Hotel Junior A semi finals will take place under lights in Cooraclare when Kilmurry Ibrickane take on Kilrush at 8p.m.
The final championship match of the weekend is the second of the Junior A semi finals in which Burren Gaels play Eire Og in Miltown at 4p.m on Sunday.
Newmarket on Fergus were crowned Clare Ladies Football U 14 Div. 2 champions last evening when they recorded a 3-6 to 1-4 win over Liscannor while Fergus Rovers defeated Wolfe Tones by 4-11 to 2-7 in the Div. 3 play off to qualify for the semi final.
In the Junior B championship St. Nicholas Parteen defeated Meelick 3-5 to 1-6.
