Kilmaley get defence of U21A hurling title off to a winning start

The new domestic club season got underway in Clare this weekend.

The U21 hurling championship saw games in the A and B sections.

In the A, defending champions Kilmaley got off to winning start with victory over Corofin/Ruan, Feakle/Killenana beat Clarecastle, Sixmilebridge edged out Eire Óg and Inagh/Kilnamona eased past Wolfe Tones.

In the B championship, Cratloe got the better of Newmarket on Fergus, Scariff/Ogonnelloe beat Smith O'Briens, O'Callaghans Mills overcame Crusheen/Tubber and Ballyea beat Clooney/Quin.
