Killaloe's Rugby star Keith Wood has been honoured in the Rugby Hall of fame.
The hooker was capped 58 times for Ireland and was the inaugural IRB player of the year in 2001.
Wood joins the likes of Jack Kyle, Willie John McBride, Syd Millar, Tony O'Reilly, Mike Gibson and Ronnie Dawson.
Meanwhile, a member of Anthony Foleys Munster backroom team says the success of the national side provides a great boost to the provinces.
Ireland's wins over South Africa and Georgia in the November Internationals has seen them climb to third in the IRB World Rankings ahead of the visit of Australia next weekend.
Munster are preparing for a PRO 12 trip to take on the Newport Gwent Dragons on Friday evening, and Brian Walsh says success for Joe Scmidt and the national side keeps everyone motivated.
