Clare’s wait to reach an eighth ever All Ireland hurling final continues as Kilkenny proved too strong in their last four showdown in Croke Park.

Brian Cody’s side will take on reigning champions Limerick in two weeks time, with the Cats dominant in recording a 12 point win over the Banner.

32 scoring chances went astray for Clare over the contest, TJ Reid notched all seven of his placed balls, while Clare converted just five of their 11 shots from frees.
