The curtain has come down on three illustrious inter-county careers this morning.
Brian Hogan and Aidan Fogarty have become the third and fourth players to call time on their Kilkenny careers.
Hogan started in the drawn All Ireland final game with Tipperary in September, but was an unused sub as he picked up his seventh All Ireland medal.
Emeralds forward, Fogarty bows out with 8 All Ireland medals to his name.
Hogan and Fogarty join Tommy Walsh and David Herity in calling time on their Cats careers.
Meanwhile, Tipperary forward John O'Brien has announced his retirement from the inter-county scene.
The Toomevara man was a member of the 2001 All Ireland-winning panel, and was central to their 2010 thrashing of Kilkenny.
Since his debut for the Premier County 13 years ago, O'Brien has also racked up five Munster Senior titles and a League medal in 2008.
