Following the players meeting last night the Kildare squad are expected to make a statement shortly on their course of action following Kieran McGeenys removal as manager.
Many players have publicly expressed their support for Mc Geeney following Tuesdays County board vote.
The players made pubic their support of the manager before the vote was taken and are annoyed that their views were not taken into account by some clubs and delegates.
