Kerry Overcome Clare In Munster Minor Football Final

Kerry have taken a commanding victory over Clare in the Munster Minor Football Final.

The Banner traveled to Pairc Ui Chaoimh to face the Kingdom in the provincial decider, hoping to claim their first title in the competition since 1953.

The Kingdom had other intentions, however and rushed to their sixth straight Munster title with a commanding win.

Clare held the lead briefly in the first half when the Banner hit the back of the Kerry goals in the tenth minute, until the reigning Champs equalised a minute later.

At half time, the score stood Kerry 1-15 to Clare’s 1-2, with Kerry contuining their dominance in the second half.

Full time score in Pairc Ui Chaoimh was Kerry 3-21, Clare 1-7.

The Minors will move on to the All Ireland Quarter Final on July 27th.
