There was disappointment for Clare's minor footballers, as they were beaten by Kerry at Cusack Park in the opening round of the Munster Championship.

Clare led twice in the opening 11 minutes, with Keelan Sexton twice on the mark but Kerry then took charge and led 0-8 to 0-3 at half-time.
The Kingdom were also strongest in the second-half. Jordan Kiely scored both of their goals as they eased to victory on a final score of 2-16 to 0-7.
Clare will now face Limerick in Newcastlewest next Thursday in a winner-takes-all encounter.
The Treatymen lost 6-15 to 1-07 away to Cork, while Tipperary beat Waterford 2-11 to 2-07 in Dungarvan.
