Kelly Named To Start Full Forward As Lohan Makes Five Changes To Banner Side To Face Kildare

Tony Kelly has been named to start against Kildare as Clare boss Brian Lohan makes five changes to his side for this evening’s game in the National Hurling League.

Eamonn Foudy, Conor Leen, Diarmuid Ryan, Ryan Taylor and Colm O’Meara all come into the side that travel to Newbridge to take on last year’s Joe McDonagh cup winners.

Captain Tony Kelly will wear the number 14 jersey, while Clonlara’s Diarmuid Stritch will partner Taylor in the middle of the field.

Clare FM analyst Tommy Guilfoyle says conversion rate will be a key focus for Lohan’s men this evening.
