The former All Ireland winner with Clare who helped Kerry to Christy Ring Cup glory says he's hopeful the win will provide a boost to the game in the Kingdom.

Clarecastle native Patrick Kelly, who was part of Davy Fitzgerald's panel in 2013, lined out at midfield in Kerry's win over Derry in Croke Park on Saturday.
Kelly, who qualifies to play for Kerry through his mother, made the decision to move south this year and played a key role in their promotion to Division 1B, where he will face his former teammates in 2016.
He says while football is the dominant force in the Kingdom, there's no reason why hurling can't grow.
