Clare’s All Ireland winning captain is praising the achievement of Shane O’Donnell and Adam Hogan in collecting the top individual honours for their showing in the 2024 hurling championship.
O’Donnell became Clare’s fourth ever Hurler of the Year while Hogan is the third Banner player to be honoured as the Young Hurler of the Year.

Ballyea’s Tony Kelly also made history by becoming the first Clare player to collect a fifth All Star, bypassing Brian Lohan and Jamesie O’Connor on the roll of honour.
He says for Hogan and O’Donnell to be chosen as the winners by their fellow players across the country makes it a special award.
