One of Clare’s longest serving members of the current senior football panel has announced his retirement from the intercounty game.
Kilmurry Ibrickane native Keelan Sexton brings the curtain down on a career stretching back to 2015 when he was first called on to the panel, in a year that saw him play in the minor, U21 and senior grades in the same season.

He made 105 appearances for Clare during the time, and was part of the side that captured the Division Three League title in 2016.
He is now playing his club football with Na Fianna in Dublin, having transferred for the coming season.
