Peter Keane’s decision to vacate his role as Clare senior football manager is being described as a sickening blow.
The Kerry native confirmed he will not be returning for a second year in charge, citing work and personal commitments as reasons.

It comes almost two months after Clare’s exit from the All Ireland series, and means that no management is in place now with the club championship almost at the knockout stages.
Clare FM analyst Joe Garry says the process should have been completed in a much more timely fashion.
