‘Justice Served’ In Rescinding O Dea’s Red Card – Talty

Clare’s ladies football boss feels ‘justice was served’ in the rescinding of Niamh O Dea’s red card against Leitrim over the weekend.

The Banner Ladies club woman was dismissed after an off the ball incident, but that decision was overturned by an Appeals Committee yesterday evening.

It means O Dea will be available for selection for Sunday’s crunch All Ireland ladies intermediate showdown with Fermanagh, with Clare needing to beat the Ulster side to progress to the knockout stages of the championship.
