Joint Clare U21 football boss Michael O'Shea says it's vital they work well with the senior management as they continue preperations for the new season.
They got the year underway last night with the first round of the pre season McNulty Cup against Galway.
The game ended in a draw, 1-11 each. Clare got a late goal to level the game after being 5 points down midway through the second half.
Their championship opener comes in March with a home Munster Quarter Final against Cork.
A number of the squad are also involved with Colm Collins and the seniors, who get the League underway at the end of January.
Kilkee man O'Shea says it's about getting the balance right.
