The Clareman who is set to form a key part of SKY's coverage of hurling is asking GAA fans to give the broadcaster a chance.

Jamesie O'Connor's comments come as a new poll in today's Irish Independent shows that more than half of people oppose the plan to sell 14 Championship games a year to the satellite broadcaster on an exclusive basis.
O'Connor will be SKY's lead hurling analyst, and he thinks the broadcaster's approach to sport will bring a new perspective to GAA.
He also thinks this could see the overall coverage improve.
