One of Clare's hurling legends is backing the Banner to have a say in the destination of Liam McCarthy in 2015.
Davy Fitzgeralds outfit continued their preperation for the coming season with a 2-20 to 0-17 win over Waterford in a challenge game last evening, while the first competitive game of the new year will come in the Waterford Crystal Quarter Final on January 18th against either Tipperary or Mary Immaculate College.
Clare will be once more able to call on the services of a number of the U21 All Ireland winning squads of recent years, and double All Ireland winner Jamesie O'Connor says that experience could be crucial for the Banner.
