Irish Open to proceed despite lack of sponsor

Despite doubts over it’s future the Irish Open will stay on the European tour schedule, the event will be played from July 28th to 31st

Failte Ireland say they are still looking for a sponsor as well as a venue

Sponsors for the previous 2 years "3" have opted out of a the third year of a 3 tournament deal however officials say they are confident of finding a replacement
