Ireland’s injury woes ease

Ireland’s injury problems have eased significantly this morning after Gordon D’Arcy, Peter O’Mahony and Keith Earls all returned to training ahead of Sunday’s Six Nations clash with England at the Aviva Stadium.

D’Arcy has now recovered from the dead leg that he suffered during last Saturday’s win over Wales, while O’Mahony has stepped-up his recovery from concussion and Earls has returned to training after a shoulder injury.

Earls will still have to visit a specialist, but all three players are now on course to be fit for the weekend.

Sean O’Brien sat out today’s training session due to a tight calf but he’s expected to return to training on Friday.
