The Ireland management has revealed the full extent of the injury list that they will have to deal with after Saturday's Six Nations defeat to France.
Sean O'Brien has been ruled-out of the trip to face England on Saturday week after confirmation that the flanker suffered a Grade 2 hamstring tear in Paris which could also make him a doubt for the rest of Ireland's championship.
Dave Kearney also looks unlikely to be fit for the trip to Twickenham after picking-up an injury to his AC joint while Mike McCarthy will have to follow the return-to-play protocols for a concussion injury.
Out-half Johnny Sexton is reported to be feeling much better after suffering a number of knocks to his neck and shoulder while centre Jared Payne won't train at all this week after it emerged that he suffered a Grade 1 hamstring tear in the first-half at the Stade de France but managed to play-on for the full 80 minutes.
Despite a second game without a win, head coach Joe Schmidt says that there's still a determination among the squad to get back to winning ways.
