The Republic of Ireland squad trained in Dublin this morning as they step up preparations for the all important World Cup qualifiers with Sweden and Austria.

John O’Shea and James McCarthy only did light training after only arriving from their clubs last night.
Darren O’Dea took a full part while Robbie Keane is due in tomorrow.
Giovanni Trapattoni’s side are away Sweden on Friday before Austria come to the Aviva next Tuesday.
Meanwhile it’s been confirmed that Ireland will play Wales in a friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium on the 14th of August.
