Ireland are ICC Intercontinental Cup Champions for the fourth time after beating Afghanistan by 122 runs in the final in Dubai.
John Mooney was named as the man of the match for his 10 wicket haul as he saw Ireland home to glory, with Afghanistan bowled out for 224.
It was Trent Johnstone’s last game in an Ireland jersey as he claimed three wickets, before limping off with an Achilles injury.
