Ireland Battle Italy as BOD Bids Farewell

Ireland's Six Nations campaign gets back underway this afternoon, with Italy the visitors to the Aviva Stadium. 

A win for Joe Schmidt's side would more than likely be enough to keep them top of the table, ahead of the final weekend of this year's championship.

The Italians are weakened by the loss of their talismanic captain, Sergio Parisse.

As well as being a huge game in the race for the Six Nations championship, today is also a celebration of Irish legend Brian O'Driscoll. 

This afternoon will be his final home game in an Irish jersey, while he will also become the most capped player in international rugby history this afternoon. 

But Captain Paul O'Connell says that fact hasn't dominated their preparations for the game.
