The world’s leading junior cyclists will this week compete in the 2013 International Junior Tour of Ireland in County Clare.

The 500-kilometre race, which is also the world’s longest junior event, starts this evening and continues over six stages until Sunday.
Steven Rooney from Shannon will compete in the individual event, while Chris Jeukan who’s based in Ennis is on Team Cycling Munster.
Stage 1 of the Tour today involves an 11km Individual Time Trial in Clarecastle.
Race Patron and Former cycling great Sean Kelly says the race is of a very high standard.
