Injury worries for Clare footballers and hurlers

The Clare senior footballers and hurlers both have injury worries ahead of this weekend’s national league encounters in Ennis.

The Clare senior footballers will be hoping to get back to winning ways against Kilkenny following their one point loss to Leitrim in Carrick On shannon.

Clare wil be without Gordon Kelly and David Tubridy due to suuspension and  manager Michael Mc Dermott believes it will allow others to stake a claim to a place in the starting 15:

In hurling news meanwhile and the Clare senior hurling starting 15 for Sunday’s national league opener against Limerick isn’t expected to be named until closer to the weekend.

Pat Vaughan has been ruled out while management await fitness updates on players involved in the Fitzgibbon cup earlier this week.
