Podge Collins is set for surgery on his cruciate ligament injury bringing his 2015 to an end, while Shane Brennan won't recover from a broken collarbone sustained in the win over Limerick on time.

Doonbeg's David Tubridy and Kilmurry's Enda Coughlan are returning from injuries but could yet feature in Sunday's clash.

Shane McGrath is another recuperating from a knee injury, with his fitness set be assessed as the week progresses.

No decision is likely to be made on their participation until late in the week as Collins and his management team wait to see how the injury list clears up.
