Injury Blow For Limerick Ahead Of Banner Showdown

Limerick have been dealt an injury blow ahead of next weekend’s Munster hurling showdown with Clare.

Four time All Ireland winning captain Declan Hannon is set to miss the game after suffering a groin injury during the Treaty’s win over Waterford on Sunday.

The Adare clubman is believed to be in a race against time to play any further part in the round robin series.

Meanwhile Seamus Flanagan is expected to be available for selection after escaping any retrospective action for his head high challenge on Stephen Bennett in their win over Deise.
