Injury blow for Munster ahead of PRO12 clash with Ulster

Munster's Dave O'Callaghan has been ruled-out for the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury during last week's Munster A clash with the Ulster Ravens.

The backrow forward tore a ligament during the match and is now facing 10 weeks on the sidelines.

Prop James Cronin will also miss Saturday's inter-provincial clash with Ulster in the Pro12, while Ivan Dineen and Kevin O'Byrne are continuing their rehab work.

There's also good news on the injury front after hooker Mike Sherry returned to non-contact training today after a year and a half out of action with shoulder injuries.
