Inagh Kilnamona moved one step closer to the Quarter Final stages of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship with a win over Clonlara in Cusack Park this afternoon.

Clonlara led the way at the half time break but Inagh-Kilnamona’s dominance in the second half, including a stunning save by Pa Kelly to deny John Conlon a goal, gave the Combo the advantage in the second half.

Full time score in that one was Inagh-Kilnamona 1-22, Clonlara 2-15.

Elsewhere, Feakle moved to the top of Group 4 of the Clare senior hurling championship.

The East Clare men edged a tight battle with Newmarket, winning by the minimum on a 0-14 to 0-13 score line.

It leaves them top of the standings ahead of their final round tie with Eire Og.

Newmarket will face Clooney-Quin in the other final round group game.
