Outstanding displays all over the field gave the mid-Clare side a deserved win, with All Ireland winners James Hegarty, Jack Mescall and captain Fred Hegarty chief among them.

Gearoid Barry top scored with 1-8 for his side, including a 48th minute goal which saw them go 3-15 to 2-10 clear in what was a match winning moment.

That score came after an excellent finish from Niall Talty saw St Joseph’s close the gap between the sides to five points, but Barry’s finish came within 90 second to stymie that momentum.

Goals in the opening half from Fred Hegarty and Jack Mescall saw Inagh-Kilnamona head to the dressing rooms with a 2-9 to 0-5 advantage, and that gap would prove too much for the Parish to bridge.

A brilliant goal in injury time from Padraic O’Donovan, who was the stand out player for St Joseph’s, set up a nervy finish with just four points between the sides, but the Inagh-Kilnamona defence stood firm to seal the win.
